school has been really busy with lots of homeworks that i couldn't even watch any dramas during the weekdays. this is also the reason that keep me away from blogging. anyway, let's talk about my missouri trip (Mid-America Chinese Christian Summer Retreat) now. ->


friday (september 4th, 2009)
my mum came to pick me up right after school so we can get home before 4pm. then eunice and her bf came to pick us.

we hit the road at about 4.30pm & arrived at our destination in Missouri at about 10pm...

it took a while before we find the place. first, we went to the registration place and they showed us where our dorm is. we even have a time schedule for everything.


saturday (september 5th, 2009)
we woke up at 7am in the morning and went to take our breakfast. after that, we went to the Deer Ridge Conference Building for meeting.

fyi, the camp is located on a mountain that is just next to a huge lake.
there are swimming pool and boating too. it's six dollar for a canoe or kayak per half an hour.

these pictures below are taken during break time from 12pm to 4pm after we had our lunch.

anyway, try to find a small cross sign (church) on the top right corner of the second pic.



we went to canoe on the first day. i don't have the pic of us canoeing at the moment. if i got one from someone that took it, i'll post it here.



this is the small church up on the mountain. we have to walk for about 15 minutes to get there.

sunday (september 6th, 2009)
we did pretty much the same thing on the morning of the second day, as they had a schedule on everything already.



this is a view of the early morning after we had our breakfast. there's fog and it's pretty cold.



we sneaked out of the camp during the break time & went to an outlet mall that is about 20 minutes away from the camp.

there's people selling pups at the parking lots. this poodle is one of the pups. they are so cute!! it's only $170 each.



when we came back from the mall, i went to kayak-ing with eunice and my little sister. it was fun but kinda hot because it's already 5pm.

we found this small cave at the camp after we had our dinner. so we went in there with several other people. the pictures above are the views from outside of the cave.



i took this picture inside the cave. it's pretty dark and kind of sleeky in there.


monday (september 7th, 2009)
again, we did the same thing in the morning like the previous two days. then we had our lunch and went home at about 2pm with our friends from wichita church.

note: believe it or not. all the pictures above are taken using my phone. i love my phone camera! =)
